The STEM Leadership Qualification from the Centre for Science Education (Sheffield Hallam University) and Edexcel is now available.

	The STEM Leadership Qualification offers -
	Integrated capability training for your students - these are not extra lessons to cram into the crowded timetable.
	Recognition of success  - accredited as a BTEC Level 1 and 2 with league table points from Edexcel & QCA.
	Credibility - the SLQ draws on nearly a decade’s research at Sheffield Hallam University and the experience of the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.

Youngsters at KS3 and 4 can engage with STEM learning within the curriculum, outside it and in work placements and be accredited for their leadership capabilities of collaboration, thinking and self belief. A direct link to accrediting Personal Learning & Thinking Skills from aged 14+ years, but open to start from age 11.
Primary, Secondary and Advanced Leaders Award for STEM can potentially fulfill one of the 6 units of work of the full qualification – Developing Personal Leadership Skills with additional links to projects that students can undretake to extend into other key units.
