The Smallpeice Trust STEM Days

Educational charity, The Smallpeice Trust runs in-school science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) days designed to enhance Year 8 and 9 students’ aptitude for problem-solving, creativity, design and engineering. Easy to organise, teachers can chooseyear-9-engineering-experience-2 full or half day workshops that complement the National Curriculum and fit nicely into the school day.
There is a choice of ‘design and make’ projects offering students the chance to break away from their usual routine to work on exciting projects that really stretch the imagination!

Year 11 and 12 Naval ArchitectureThe Smallpeice Trust Residential Courses

The Smallpeice Trust runs over 30 subsidised residential courses each year to encourage young people to take up careers in engineering, design, technology and manufacturing. From Marine Technology, Materials Technology and Mining & Minerals to Nanotechnology, Naval Architecture and Nuclear Engineering, the courses are as exciting as they are varied. And they all offer young, aspiring engineers the chance to connect with industry professionals and technical specialists. Year 11 and 12 Naval Architecture
Based at leading universities and other secure venues across the country, these courses are available to all young people in school years 9 -12.
